Since we join hands with Falcon Coffee to source Ethiopian coffee, we gaining access toward these kind of coffee and able to share much more transparent coffee information with consumer.

Ethiopia’s Nano Challa coffee offers an elegant and complex flavour experience. The cup begins with floral top notes of chamomile and jasmine, creating a light and aromatic entry. These delicate florals give way to a burst of sweetness resembling peach candy, offering a juicy, fruit-forward complexity. A smooth finish highlights the creamy, nutty essence of marzipan, tying together the coffee’s bright and sweet characteristics. This harmonious balance of florals, fruit, and sweetness creates a refined, memorable profile, ideal for lovers of complex, light-roasted coffees.

The Producer

The Nano Challa Coffee washing station in Ethiopia's Oromiya region has transformed into a leading force in the coffee industry. Founded nine years ago by the Kata Muduga Union, it operates across three sites in Jimma Zone’s Geera District, at altitudes of 2007–2048 masl. With 819 cooperative members and two additional mills, it processes 2.7 million kilograms of red coffee cherries annually (yielding 567,000 kg of parchment coffee). Employing nine full-time staff and up to 180 seasonal workers, it plans to expand capacity to 3.5 million kilograms while enhancing waste management.

 Nano Challa employs precise processing methods like sorting, pulping, mucilage removal, soaking, and drying on raised beds and priorities sustainability with water recycling, secure storage, and traceability. Its community programs include reforestation, school and road improvements, and farmer training, solidifying its commitment to quality and local development despite financial hurdles.
