Arkib Kopi always heavy on fruity coffee either for filter or espresso selection. But we changed our perception when we encounter Honduras coffee. This coffee region made a comeback to specialty coffee industry after heavily affected by leaf rust disease. Whenever we sample Honduras coffee, we always get a herbal aroma and milk chocolaty body. Honduras Coracilillo PB is good example of excellent Honduras coffee. This particular is a regional blend coffee which is the coffee was sourced multiple coffee farm from El Cielito, El Cedral, El Sauce and Las Flores. After harvest, the coffee in parchment will be delivered to San Vincente for further export process.
As much I like fruity coffee, I do like herbs coffee like Honduras. This kind of coffee is a perfect choice for my morning coffee since the herbs' sensation wake me up before roll into daily routine. Honduras known for rounded coffee which make it favorite roaster choice when it comes to espresso coffee. This coffee has enjoyable complex flavors from dark cherries, candy plum sweetness and cacao nibs aftertaste. What interesting about Coracoillo coffee is where the herbs flavors is gone when it serves as white coffee. It interesting to have significant coffee flavor with different type of serving.
