The concept began when Faza was an undergraduate entrepreneur who wanted to start a business as his final year project. Ice. Presso is his brainchild of devotion and love towards good coffee.
Taking courage with his wife, Faza opens up a small coffee shop, Ice Presso, while his wife opens Dots Bakery. In this small space, he started his first venture using a manual espresso brewing device called Flair and a compact steam machine. It is a manual lever machine using the hand that produces sweet and heavy mouthfeel. While his wife prepares small bites like mini cakes and desert that pair well with every coffee that they serve in the café.
Started as home brewers, Faza has a deep passion for showcasing the beauty of enjoying specialty coffee. With a high-precision hand grinder made from German, Kinu offers seasonal single-origin coffee for hand drip coffee. This is where conversation about the coffee makes the experience of having coffee in Ice. Presso is worth a visit.
Since opening, Arkib has worked closely with Ice. Presso, from guiding the selection of coffee beans to buying the right equipment at the right moment, and also continuously transferring knowledge to sharpen their barista and customer service skills. Paying attention to details has been a major success for the Ice.Presso entity.
In August 2023, Presso achieved the milestone by expanding the store to the next-door unit. The new space shown at Ice.Presso will cater to a larger crowd and provide a comfortable dining place for a better coffee experience. Including serving their signature in-house blend coffee roasted by Arkib , providing comfort daily coffee for local neighbourhood.
