Story

After succesfully launched and operated Monet Jalan J and Monet In The City, the creative team behind Monet expanding their reach into the garment district at Jalan Imbi. Located exactly behind well known city landmark Berjaya Times Square, Monet Atelier open the door at ground floor of Sneakerlah building. This old building used belong to old hotel inhirate the 60's era Kuala Lumpur architecture charm perfectly creating new atmosphere for patron that visitng Monet Atelier.

Founded by Afiq Ashman, Monet Atelier created to be the hub for local community activites fueled by good coffee and great vibes. Taking inspiration from fashion world, Afiq embedded his vision of visitng coffee shop similar to how you enter clothing stores where from the moment you step in, the flow of movement in the shop feel like you browsing your favourite clothes. From chill laid back seating area facing the main bar to taking staircase to 2nd floor, it shifting the mood from enter coffee shop environment to much private section when you can find your comfort space to hang around. Upper floor specifically also become the event space for locla fashion market space serving it main goals empower crreative local garment brand with their space.

Monet Atelier design perfectly captured DNA of Monet brand. With chilling area infront of shop for young people hang out, they also curated row of seat catering for patron who are looking to spend their working hours in coffee shop. The upper sectionized to has large group to have private conversation and veranda are they for those you would like to checkout scenery of Money. patron from bird eyes view. The spacious space that Monet Atelier had feel like a maze waiting for their loyal customer to keep coming back experience the ambience in different setting.

Located at Jalan Imbi, Monet Atelier completed the neighbouhood community by serving Arkib coffee. Having been our long time cafe partner, Monet Atelier consistently serving signature house like Abadi or Keiko providing crowd favourite coffee to fuel their day. For coffee enthusiast, single origin coffee offeering available upon rorationg depend on harvest season. Beside that the brew bar also featuring limited lot offering that focusing more on our direct trade coffee such as Argopuro or Bungi Lungi Estate that effortlessly leaving impression of specialty coffee coffee experience.

Monet Atelier is an extended community effort done by Monet. Blended the street culture with modern coffee approach, it becomes a shared ground where creativity, conversation and craft move in rhythm, shaping a space that feels both raw and refined.
