Fuelled by a group of passionate young individuals, Tuang Coffee has introduced experimental processes, such as anaerobic fermentation, which had never been attempted in Flores before. By carefully sorting cherries and ensuring that only the ripest are processed, they’ve significantly improved the quality of their coffee.

The latest offering from Flores, Mbohang Lot 3557 lot is one of the cleanest anaerobic coffees we've ever experienced. Dominated by a delicate fermentation profile and an intense bubblegum aroma, this elegant Indonesian coffee shines. The filter brew highlights vibrant notes of purple grape, sweet red candy, and red berries, while the espresso reveals refreshing guava with a subtle peach nuance. The classic bubblegum aroma pierces through the creamy milk foam, evolving into a rich berry jam with a raisin finish. The coffee trees are organically grown at altitudes between 1,400–1,700 meters above sea level, surrounded by other crops such as taro, yam, and banana trees. Each coffee bean is carefully processed, with attention to its varietal, method, and the specific village of origin, ensuring that every batch is uniquely traceable.
