This lot is an experimental lot done by Jose Maria to introduce a new flavour spectrum for enjoying coffee. Especially focusing on new specialty coffee lovers who are looking to discover more prominent flavours from coffee.
The pineapple-infused is Jose's latest experimental lot that utilises fruit fermentation to create a new flavour profile. The pulped coffee was fermented in a tank with slices of pineapple.
The fermentation will take around 68 hours in an aerobic environment. This unique process creates a prominent pineapple flavour with bright citrus fruitiness.
Our Coffees is a family of coffee farmers from Minas Gerais, Brazil, who specialise in producing the highest quality Brazilian specialty coffees. They own various farms in Campos Altos, where coffee is grown at an altitude of 1000–1280 msal.
Our Coffees launched the Para Ela project. It aims to provide financial support to the women of Campos Altos in Brazil and draw attention to social injustice in Brazil. During the harvest season, pickers earned 50% more than the regional average. The women's household income increased by 85% as a result of the Para Ela project.
