About the job

As a Roastery Team Intern, you’ll support our production team in preparing and packaging coffee for both retail customers and digital subscribers. This role is at the heart of how Arkib reaches people—through consistency, precision, and care in every bag.

What You’ll Do

• Fulfill coffee orders with precision, ensuring the right coffee reaches the right customer on time
• Assist in production workflow: blending, weighing, bagging, and organizing coffee beans
• Pack, seal, and label coffee bags with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the roastery after each production run
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participate in routine machine maintenance and report any issues
• Follow all food safety, quality control, and good manufacturing practices

What You Bring

• A genuine interest in coffee and appreciation for quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30kg
• Basic proficiency in reading and speaking English

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role. You should be comfortable with:

• Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
• Repetitive hand movements and handling materials
• Bending, lifting, reaching, and moving items (up to 30kg)
• Performing detailed visual checks for quality and accuracy
• Navigating stairs, ladders, and uneven surfaces when required
