REZEKI KILAT

A phrase that quickly caught the attention of the local coffee scene. Rezeki Kilat began with a simple idea to capture the pure character of Brazil while rethinking what a house blend could be. Brazil has long been an introduction to good specialty coffee. Familiar and comforting, it is often the first step into something more. Rezeki Kilat is our tribute to that role and to the everyday pleasure of drinking good coffee.

The blend brings together three lots from the same producer, Pedro Gabarra. The first is a Topázio Peaberry with concentrated sweetness and a distinct peaberry character. The second is a naturally processed Bourbon microlot with deep caramel sweetness. The final lot is a Bourbon honey process with pronounced red fruit character. Together they present three different expressions of Brazil in one cup.

Rezeki Kilat is made to be easy to enjoy without losing its character. As espresso it opens with subtle persimmon fruitiness and low acidity before moving into chunky walnut sweetness and a black tea finish. With milk it becomes deeper with toasted coconut and brown butter sweetness. As it cools the cup softens into roasted milk tea with prominent walnut sweetness. A coffee made to be shared, whether it is your first step into specialty coffee or simply a good cup for the day.
